Wisconsin winters are hard on gel coats, upholstery, and covers. Inside a unit there is no snow load on the cover, no UV baking the seats, no mice moving in from an open field, and no spring surprise when you pull the tarp. Your insurance company likes enclosed storage better too.
10x26 ($130/mo): fishing boats and runabouts to roughly 22–24 feet on trailer, full-size pickups, most cars plus gear. 10x20 ($90/mo): compact boats, jet skis on trailers, motorcycles, 2–3 ATVs or snowmobiles with trailer. Every unit is drive-up with wide aisles built for backing a boat.
Winter math: October through April is about 7 months.
